DALLAS – June 29, 2018 – SymphonyAI, the leading global provider of Artificial Intelligence-enabled decision platforms, solutions and customer-centric insights that drive validated growth for retailers and CPG manufacturers, announced today that it was selected as a recipient of the 2018 Supply and Demand Chain Executive SDCE 100 Awards.

The SDCE 100 is an annual list of 100 great supply chain projects that serve as a map for supply chain executives looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations. The awards spotlight successful and innovative transformation projects that deliver bottom-line value and achieve supply chain excellence.

“First and foremost, we want to congratulate the winners of this year’s Top 100 for their successful and innovative projects, which serve as models to companies of all sizes what is achievable in their supply chains,” said John Yuva, editor for Supply and Demand Chain Executive. “Regardless of company size, these projects are best-in-class examples of the types of efficiencies and bottom-line results that supply chain executives should be striving toward in their own operations. Our 2018 winners provide a roadmap for how to get there.”

SymphonyAI was recognized for both its SR Forecasting and Replenishment and SR Master Data Management solutions. These solutions assist retailers in handling billions of forecasts weekly across thousands of stores and millions of item locations.

With SymphonyAI’s solutions, retailers are able to access accurate inventory levels and identify underperforming product lines that need to be removed from shelves. In addition, retailers have the enhanced ability to identify new segments and products for targeting new groups, and have better visibility on future shipping and receiving of goods.

“Prior to implementing our supply chain solutions, many retailers reserved stock weeks in advance and kept excess stock in their warehouse at a considerable cost,” said Patrick Buellet, CTO, Retail Solutions Division, SymphonyAI “Now, they are increasing productivity, better planning stock flow and improving labor scheduling, especially in the warehouse. They are also seeing increased sales, and fewer out-of-stocks. The addition of AI in our supply chain solutions is illustrating even more benefits for our current customers who are taking advantage of this software.”

SymphonyAI’s supply chain customers include Action, Dollar General, Intermarché, REMA 1000, Smart and Final, Southeastern Grocers, and SpartanNash.
