Symphony GOLD, the leading provider of software and services for retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers, today announced that Norwegian retailer REMA 1000 has chosen Symphony GOLD’s unified retail platform to optimize business performance for all its franchisees. The cloud-based retail platform will be deployed across REMA’s Norwegian retail estate.
A part of Reitangruppen, REMA 1000 is a discount, small-format franchise retailer. With its Norwegian franchise stores experiencing rapid growth, REMA 1000 needed a progressive, scalable platform to support its business expansion. The solution will include three key components of the Symphony GOLD platform: Master Data Management, Store Operations including automatic store replenishment and forecasting, and Store Mobility for mobile app capability.
Graeme Cooksley, President and Managing Director, Symphony GOLD Solutions, commented: “REMA 1000’s strategic business goal is to deliver a common retail platform that supports its growth plans, and helps its franchisees optimize the performance of their store operations. Symphony GOLD is providing REMA 1000 and its franchisees with a scalable, cost-effective solution, delivered as a hosted solution by our sister company Symphony Teleca.”
