DALLAS – Mar. 30, 2020 – SymphonyAI, the global provider of integrated AI-enabled marketing, merchandising and supply chain solutions for FMCG retailers and CPG manufacturers, today announced that BTC is implementing SymphonyAI Warehouse Management.
A major Slovenian third-party logistics provider, BTC, offers logistics services for the likes of leading gasoline retailer, Petrol, as well as well-known CPG manufacturers in the region Atlantic, Dr.Oetker, Bayersdorf, Zito, Pernod Ricard and more. In an effort to support its modernization and growing operations, BTC turned to SymphonyAI for warehouse management and Android-based voice solutions.
“To compete today in the fast-moving and complex distribution and wholesale sector, you can’t ever stop looking ahead to make all systems and processes as frictionless as possible,” said Matej Bregar, CIO, BTC. “We have very aggressive plans for the modernization of our operations and with this comes complexity that can only be supported by a highly sophisticated warehouse management platform.”
The systems are being deployed in two phases. In phase one, currently underway, BTC is focused on deploying the new warehouse management solution across the six distribution centers, with the first warehouse to go live in less than six months. Phase 2 will see the deployment of voice operation and billing and robotics across the distribution centers.
“SymphonyAI is honored to be chosen by BTC and looks forward to the mutual achievement of their strategic growth plans,” said Matjaž Žnidarič, Strategic Account Manager, SymphonyAI. “Our solutions give BTC’s logistics real-time visibility into the status of its complex warehouse system and the addition of voice operations in the near future will truly maximize performance, improve traceability and overall warehouse efficiency.
Voice directed and tailor-made for fresh item management, SymphonyAI warehouse management solutions help retailers gain real-time visibility for maximum performance at lower costs, dramatically increasing traceability and warehouse efficiency.
