Symphony GOLD, provider of the GOLD unified software platform for retail, today announced that the French retail group, Intermarché has completed the international rollout of GOLD Warehouse Replenishment for inventory optimization. The solution is in production at 60 Distribution Centers (DCs) across Europe, including 47 food and five non-food DCs in France, one non-food DC in Belgium, four food and non-food DCs in Portugal, and three food and non-food DCs in Poland.
One of the world’s Top 20 largest retailers, Intermarché is a privately owned retail group based in France. It has six formats – Intermarché, Netto, Bricomarché, Brico Cash, Roady and Poivre Rouge – for food, non-food, DIY, automotive, road-service and restaurant segments.
With 3550 European stores to supply, Intermarché can now use accurate and real-time inventory indicators for cost-to-serve levels including logistics, supplier conditions and performance, store operations and inventory performance levels.
